The City Attorney is a part-time employee.

The City Attorney conducts all of the City’s legal business; provides legal opinions for Common Council and City officers; drafts ordinances, resolutions, contracts and agreements for the city; reviews all contracts, leases and agreements with the city; attends the Board of Review meetings; assists with union negotiation proceedings; files legal actions and handles lawsuits.
